Matchup Notes:

  • Matt Barkley will be under center for the Bears following Jay Cutler‘s shoulder injury.
  • In spite of playing just .500 ball, the Ravens are still somehow in contention in the AFC North, and could move into a tie for the division lead with a win.
  • Drew Brees needs just 223 yards to surpass 3,500 yards for the 12th straight season.
  • Quietly, and on the strength of Jay Ajayi‘s emergence as a feature back, the Dolphins have won 5 straight, the best win streak in the AFC.
  • The Panthers are missing some key starters as Luke Kuechly, Mario Addison, Ryan Kalil have all been ruled out against Derek Carr and the powerful Raiders offense.
  • Monday night’s matchup features uncertain backfields, as Christine Michael could make his debut for the Packers in an attempt to revive their anemic run game, and Wendell Smallwood is likely to get the call for the injured Ryan Mathews.
