The AOSN has been providing sports coverage since November 2013, publishing over 3,000 articles since inception. We are ready to increase our volume and give local markets in-depth coverage – that’s where you come in.
The AOSN is currently recruiting writers for every market. We want writers who need to get the word out about their teams, who know the strengths and weaknesses of them. We want to provide a voice for your market.
If you want to be that voice, you have come to the right place. At The AOSN, you will have a chance to write about your favorite teams, and you will have a chance to move up on our team. All of our editors, including the Editor-in-Chief, started as writers.

Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to write with proper grammar and punctuation.
- All content must be unique.
- Must have a professional social media presence.
- Must be willing to write without monetary compensation.
The application process consists of a simple questionnaire. Aside from name and contact information, we ask for a sample piece of 500-750 words. This sample piece must be backed with statistics and/or references. In addition, you will have the ability to add two links if you have written for other blogs/websites/publications.
