The NBA conference finals have taught us a lot after a pair of lop sided game 3’s. The first being that a great team sometimes needs to come to the aide of a great player. And secondly, that a series has many twist and turns. The Cavaliers looked to cut their 0-2 deficit in the series, the Rockets looked to take a lead on the road. However, at the end of the night only one squad would get what they wanted.

Game Summary
Biggest story of this match up between the Cavs and Celtics was unquestionably the Cavs supporting cast. LeBron James had help from his teammates like he hasn’t seen all series. Double digit production from his entire starting line up combined with James’ own spectacular 27 point performance was just too much for the Celtics who struggled on the road again. Boston had no answer for Kevin Love on the block as he amassed 14 boards to go with his 13 points.

Game Summary
Let it be known that the demise of one Wardell Stephen Curry II has been greatly exaggerated. The muttering that Curry was done for and too soft to hang with the Rockets would go quiet in game 3. Steph Curry was virtually unguardable as he lit up potential MVP candidate James Harden. Harden had 20 points but it wasn’t nearly enough to contest with Curry who poured 35. Furthermore Draymond Green finally got going posting a double double that included 17 rebounds. Terrific ball movement coupled with a terrible defensive performance by Houston led to Golden State taking a 2-1 lead in the series.
